Description

This announcement constitutes Solicitation Number FA4801-06-T-0137, which will be issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). Anticipated award to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Per FAR 36.204, the Magnitude of the Project is estimated to be in the following range: Less than $25,000. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAR 2005-11. This acquisition is to be set aside and awarded to a small business concern. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220. The size standard is $13,000.000.00. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish and install a 5 TON split system air conditioner with head pressure control for Room 102B of Building 1161. The contractor shall install a thermostat for the split system and the thermostat shall be located inside of Room 102B. The contractor shall use the appropriately sized copper tubing to connect the condenser unit with the evaporator unit located inside the building. The contractor shall install a drain line for the evaporator unit. The contractor shall provide any necessary electrical work and materials for the installation of the split system, the thermostat and connecting the split system to the appropriate electrical panel. The contractor shall provide a fusible disconnect switch for the split system. The contractor shall include manual lock. All specifications are included in the Statement of Work. PROJECT DETAILS: The Solicitation which will include the site visit date & time and other attachments will be posted on or about 11 JULY 2006 AND MUST BE DOWNLOADED FROM FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov; DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. IMPORTANT NOTICES: 1) RFQ submission must be in accordance with solicitation. 2) You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration Database. (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration). 3) All Amendments, if applicable, must Be Acknowledged.
