Description

RENOVATION OF DENTAL AREA LOCATED AT VA LAWTON OUTPATIENT CLINIC This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size standard classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business) relative to NAICS 236220 (size standard of 31.0 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the BOS. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. All respondents must be registered in CCR data base, see http://ccr.gov and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.goc, along with Vets-100 at http://vets100cudenver.edu/. The Department of Veterans Affairs? Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide the Remodel of Lawton Outpatient Clinic. Contractors? submitting responses to this sources sought notice must have a facility physically located in the geographic area of Lawton, Oklahoma or be within a 100 mile radius of Lawton, in which they will provide these construction services. The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment and supervision for the completion of the project in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work includes but is not limited to: Demolition, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work. If interested, please provide the requested information as indicated below, and provide in writing a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor. The intended contract period is estimated to begin on or about September 1, 2006. Response to this notice should include company name, address, e-mail address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (2) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (3) Is your firm a certified HUBZone? (4) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated small business? (5) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small or veteran-owned small business? (6) A list of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were the prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (7) Include the DUNS number of your firm. Responses must be received in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. July 21, 2006. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Again, at this time, no solicitation exists.
