Description

The purpose of this contract is to secure timber unit traversing utilizing global positioning system, timber marking and timber cruising work on the Six Rivers National Forest. This contract secures services that will individualy be applied to three separate timber sales. The Contractor (Quoter) must be a State of California Registered Professional Forester (RPF), or shall employ the services of a State of California Registered Professional Forester to provide on the ground supervision of this contract. LOCATION: The Little Doe Timber Sale project area is located on the Mad Ranger District of the Six Rivers National Forest, within all or portions of sections 5, 6, 7, 18 and 19, T.26N., R.11W., sections 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23 and 24, T.26N., R.12W., sections 31 and 32, T.27N., R.11W., and section 36, T.27N., R.12W.; Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian. The Low Gulch Timber Sale project area is located on the Mad Ranger District of the Six Rivers National Forest, within all or portions of sections 2 and 3, T.26N., R.12W., and sections 25, 26, 27, 28, 33, 34, 35 and 36, T.27N., R.12W.; Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian. The Lost Creek Timber Sale project is located on the Mad Ranger District of the Six Rivers National Forest, within all or portions of Sections 13, 14, and 24, T.26N., R.12W.; Mount Diablo Baseline and Meridian. CONTRACT TIME: 114 calendar days. Estimated Start Work Date: September 28, 2006. PRE-QUOTE TOUR: A pre-quote tour is NOT scheduled. SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: July 27, 2006, with estimated due date of August 28, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website for viewing and printing.
