- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Pacific/Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DoDDS-P/DDESS-Guam) intends to procure SmartFilter and Gold Support Software upgrades and hardware maintenance services for equipment that is currently deployed in the DoDDS Pacific network infrastructure utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract on an other than Full and Open Competition Brand Name basis. The contract will be for 12-months, beginning 01 October 2006, with an option to procure two additional 12-month upgrades and hardware maintenance services. Detailed SmartFilter and Gold Support Software upgrades and hardware maintenance services are included in the Request for Proposal number HE1260-06-R-0053 that will be posted on or about 14 July 2006 in the Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOpps). The Request for Proposal will close 30 days from the Solicitation issue date. Contract award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The Department of Defense requires all Contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responsible sources submitting a proposal shall be considered by the agency.
