- This procurement is for a new fire alarm system for the Muskie Federal Building in Augusta, ME. The new fire alarm system shall include the following capabilities: voice alarm, ABA compatible notification (strobes), automatic smoke detection, manual pull stations, supervision and actuation of required building systems. The NAICS code is 238210. The Small Business Size Standard is 13 million dollars. This project is 100% set aside for Small Business. Performance and Payment bonds of 100% will be required under this contract. Estimated project cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated posting date of this IFB will be on or about 07/27/06. Pre-bid conference will be on or about 08/08/06. The technical documents will be available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) secure website via a direct link from FedBizOpps.
