- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334119, which has a size standard of 1000 employees. The Request for Quote reference number is N00178-06-Q-3040. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure personal computers and software with the following characteristics: A) OQO model 01 + with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition (Qty 16); B) Microsoft Office Small Business Edition (Outlook, Word and Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) (Qty 16);! C) model 01 + double capacity battery (Qty 16); D) model 01 + docking cable (Qty 16); E) model 01 + universal power supply with air/auto cable (Qty 16); F) model 01 + air/auto cable (cable only, no power supply) (Qty 16); G) model 01 + VGA adapter (Qty 16); H) model 01 + digital pens (Qty 64); I) model 01 + boxwave screen protector (Qty 80); J) model 01 + stronghold metal case (Qty 16). This equipment will be installed into an existing fielded system; therefore, the manufacturer, model number, and part number must be identical to the equipment specified above. All items shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB DESTINATION to the NSWCDD. All items need to be delivered by 15 September 2006. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order. Award is to be made under Simplified Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 19 July 2006 at 2:00pm EST.
