- The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary to meet the specifications to install a new 6-foot high commercial chain link with drive gates and single walk gate and padlocks for Hunter?s Point Boarding School, Ft. Defiance Agency, Apache County, Arizona; and Red Rock Day School, Shiprock Agency, . The Government will stake the fence boundary. No clearing or grading will be necessary. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract. This is a full and open competition acquisition, and is set-aside for small business. Period of Performance will be 60 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid opening date is scheduled at 10:00 A.M. (local time), August 4, 2006, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Fifteen (15) sets of solicitation packages will be available on a first come, first serve basis until the supply is exhausted. Technical inquiries must be submitted in writing seven (7) days before the closing date. Bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No. (505) 863-8382, Attention: Lynelle Benallie. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
