THIS NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The tracking number for this announcement is 258-0008-06. The NAICS code for this proposed acquisition is 541310. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding the type of procurement to be utilized to obtain these services. The Veterans Administration Southwest Healthcare Network (VISN 18) solicits a capability statement from all qualified Veteran Owned Small Business Firms, 8(a) firms and Hubzone Small Businesses interested to provide architect and engineering services to include, but are not limited to medical facility/healthcare system healthcare facility strategic plan (master plan) and concept plan development throughout VISN 18 which covers areas throughout Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas. The following information is provided: PROJECT INFORMATION: The resulting contract will be a Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract and will provide the Architectural and Engineering services for various multi-discipline projects that will include, but are not limited to medical facility/healthcare system healthcare facility strategic plan (master plan) and concept plan development. This includes but is not limited to preparation of block or line plans, site planning, magnitude cost estimates, investigation services, site visits, and other related activities, validation of required clinical programs and related data (VA provided or from healthcare market analysis). An emphasis will be placed on Medical Planner work. All interested Veteran Owned Small Business Firms, 8(a) firms and Hubzone Small Businesses with the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit a Capability Statement consisting of appropriate documentation, literature and brochures and should include: 1) Firm name, address, telephone and fax numbers. 2) Identification of the company as a Veteran Owned Small Business Firms, 8(a) firms and/or Hubzone Small Businesses (NAICS Code 541310 business size standard is not to exceed $4,500,000). 3) Past experience with engineering services for the type of work referenced above (a minimum of 3 references for similar types of projects must be provided.) 4) Certified statement that the firm intends to performs at least 25% of the work in house. References supporting the claim to meet the requirements specified above should include the company name and title, telephone number, and point of contact. IMPORTANT: responses must be limited to be no more than 10 pages. Submission of a Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. Statements that do not meet all requirements or submitted within the allotted time will not be considered. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
