Description
This solicitation is hereby amended as follows: The due date for this solicitation is changed to July 18, 2006. The amendment changes the requirements as follows: Line Item 0001 Alta E30+ digital spectral acquisition system including a TE cooled camera head, Grade 1 E2V midband back-illuminated CCD30-11, 15' cable, power supply, ActiveX driver, MaxIm DL/CCD image acquisition and processing software; ethernet control. Line 0002 Alta E30+ digital spectral acquisition system including a TE cooled camera head, Grade 1 E2V broadband back-illuminated CCD30-11, 15' cable, power supply, ActiveX driver, MaxIm DL/CCD image acquisition and processing software; ethernet control. Line Item 0003 KestrelSpec spectroscopy software for Windows. High performance, scientific grade (Grade 1) multi-element CCD detectors for the visible and near-infrared spectral range. Spectroscopy acquisition software for Windows Camera system requirements (for both camera systems, line items #1 and #2) 1. Physical dimension: No larger than 6? by 6? by 6? 2. Remote control via Ethernet (100baseT) 3. Maximum weight 3lbs 8 oz 4. Cooling to 55 C below ambient temperature 5. Operational in ambient temperature range from 20 degC to 25 degC minimum operational range; wider operational temperature range preferable. 6. +12 V integrated power supply 7. SDRAM in camera head for local image storage, enabling rapid image acquisition. 8. No external control units or computer plug-in cards 9. With c-mount adaptor 10. Option for external shutter (e.g. external trigger); variable exposure time: minimum range from approximately 50 ms to 500 s. CCD Requirements (both CCDs, line items #1 and #2): 1. Array size (pixels): 1024 (horizontal) by 256 (vertical) 2. Pixel size: approximately 26 um by 26 um 3. Imaging area (minimum): 24 mm (horizontal) by 6 mm (vertical) 4. Linear full well capacity: 500,000 electrons or greater requested; 400,000 electrons min. required 5. 16-bit digitization 6. System noise: < 20 electrons 7. Dark current: ~ 1 electron/pixel/sec at operational temperature 8. Operational temperature: ~ -30 degC 9. Temperature stability: ~ 0.1 degC 7. Ant-blooming hardware design requested, but not required. 8. Back-illuminated CCDs for maximum Quantum Efficiency minimum Quantum Efficiency Wavlength CCD #1 CCD #2 400 nm 50 % NOP 500 nm 50 % 50 % 600 nm 50 % 50 % 700 nm 50 % 50 % 800 nm NOP 40 % 900 nm NOP 30 % CCD #1: broadband AR coating CCD #2: midband AR coating Software Requirements: 1.
