- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to secure communication specialist services. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, incidentals, and travel necessary to complete the work. The work includes writing, editing, design, and layout of publications, interpretive materials, marketing materials, and exhibits, coordinating Contractor-Provided Services such as fabrication of interpretive panels and exhibit components, coordinating and facilitating collaborative planning processes, interpretive and visitor communication planning,graphics/art production, creation of digital images, manipulation of maps and illustrations. Please note that the majority of these projects have already begun; Work on this contract is expected to begin on September 5, 2006, with completion by October 30, 2007. The Contracting Officer?s Representative (COR) will establish the sequence and priority of work. The work will be on eight (8) Forests. Due to the virtual nature of the work, it may be necessary for the contractor to travel to project locations to host meetings, tour facilities, or work with local contacts on a project. Estimated number of work hours 1900, plus travel expenses. Estimated solicitation issue date July 25, 2006.
