- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This acquisition will be solicited to Media Systems Group, Monterey, CA 93940-3800 as a sole source procurement for 1 EA Turn-key Smart audiovisual multi-system IN271. The system will be used to provide an interface with existing equipment. Media systems holds the proprietary control software. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-06-T-0770. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-09 and DFARS Change Notice 20060616. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333315 and the Small Business Standard in number of employees is 500. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Detachment Seal Beach requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: ITEM 0001. QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT Smart Classroom 1 EA Audiovisual System IN271 As per attached statement of work FOB Destination. Place of delivery is Monterey, CA. 93943. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award.
