The proposed contact is 100 percent set aside for small disadvantaged business concerns. Offers from concerns other than SDBs will not be considered. The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for financial and accounting support services at the EROS Data Center (EDC), Sioux Falls, SD. The financial support services are related to budgetary, financial systems, technical and analytical support activities. The end results of these activities enable the EDC financial and project management staff to more accurately track and monitor project and EDC-wide financial status. Support activities include analysis and data entry for financial transactions, assistance in developing project work breakdown structures, and assistance in maintaining project information in BASIS+. Assistance in tracking and reporting requirements related to reimbursable customers is a major activity under this contract. Other related services are preparing billing documents, assistance with customer data sales, recording all cash deposits, credit card transactions, and wire transfers in the business system, establishing customer accounts, and providing summary information of official sales by product category and revenue source to the Office of Financial Management and the Federal Financial System. Assistance with reconciliation on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis will also be provided. The anticipated contract will be for one (1) Base Year, with four (4) 12-month renewal option periods.
