- It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to procure the items listed below as a synopsis for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an unrestricted procurement for the following items: Item 1: 24 Port Panel XG (Amptrac Ready) QTY: 144 Item 2: SL AMP Twist Jacks for XG Panel QTY: 3,456 Item 3: CAT6 FTP Wire 1,000FT Reels Gray QTY: 260 Item 4: 24 Fiber MPO/MPO Trunk 150FT XG Plenium QTY: 4 Item 5: 24 Fiber LC Cassette XG QYY: 8 Item 6: Fiber Enclosures 1RU QTY: 8 Pricing shall reflect any quantity discount. Delivery will be made to National Library of Medicine, 38A Loading Dock, 8600 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20894. Desired delivery is 2 weeks from the date of the award. Items delivered shall be new material. Reconditioned/Used Material is not acceptable. Provide FOB point (origin/destination). The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions -Simplified Acquisitions (Other than Commercial Items) (Feb. 2006). Anticipated award date is no later than August 4, 2006. Closing date and time for receipt of offers if 4 PM Eastern Time on July 25, 2006. PROPOSALS ARE TO REMAIN EFFECTIVE FOR 60 DAYS AFTER CLOSE OF SOLICITATION. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating the nomenclature; part number; unit price and extended price, FOB point; payment terms and any discount offered for prompt payment, the business size standard and any minority classification; delivery date, and Representation and Certifications contained in FAR Clause 52.204-8. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and no other document will be issued. Sources interested in responding to this notice must submit a response via mail within fifteen (15) business days from the publication date of this notice. No electronic responses will be accepted.
