- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Awards will be limited to Small Business concerns. The purpose of this procurement is to assist the ADS office with expertise on human subjects? protections issues, particularly in the areas of research related to the prevention and control of STD, HIV, hepatitis and TB. The ADS office processes and approves research protocols, studies, and projects that involve public health practice, as well as scientific manuscripts. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, supervision, services, and other incidentals necessary to complete the tasks. The contractor shall conduct the work at the National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention and be available for regular consultation in person or by phone as needed for medical and epidemiologic consultation on research, public health projects, and scientific manuscripts, and on the review and application of the federal regulations and policies for the protection of human subjects.
