- F- Kraft Springs Machine Piling of Hazardous Fuels Project is located on the Sioux Ranger District of the Custer National Forest. Work consists of approx. 270 acres of mechanical piling of hazardous fuels. Consisting of dead and down woody material to reduce the risk of catastrphhic wildfire. For directions to the site contact Robert Cordell at 605-797-4432. Estimated start work date is August 1, 2006 with 56 calendar days to complete the project.
