- DESC: See numbered note 26. NSN 2510-01-303-2933, Shock Absorber Assembly. The solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Priced contract requiring a quantity of 360 each, to be shipped to New Cumberland PA. This will be procured in accordance with drawings/specifications. A Contractor First Article Test (F.A.T.) is required. It requires that three Units (3), be tested within 180 days. The waived sources for the FAT are: General Kinetics Engineering Corporation (1C852) and Canadian Commercial Corporation provided that they provide the aforementioned contractor?s material. The required delivery schedule is for 360 ea to be shipped within 310 days. This requirement is Unrestricted and all responsible, offers will be considered. The solicitation will be available on the web after July 25, 2006. http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/Solicitations/ The anticipated closing date of the solicitation will be August 15, 2006. A written quoted is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified, DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation.
