Description

Project No. ZNRE 04-1018, Construct Fire Structural Trainer Assembly. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Construct a structural fire trainer assembly (GFM: Government-furnished materials); Construct reinforced concrete foundation for the structural trainer; Construct new concrete pavement around the trainer; Construct new water line for new fire hydrant; Remove and relocate pole mounted flood lights and devices; Replace existing circuit breaker with new in the existing cubicle transformer; Install electrical panelboard; Install exhaust fan control circuitry; Abate asbestos contained manhole/handhole and foundation of cubicle transformer; Install grounding rods at existing manholes; Install LPG distribution piping; Install stand pipe system (GFM) and exhaust fan (GFM). NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES, WHICH NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. Site orientation is schedule on 19 Jul 06, from 1000 hrs at Conference Room 109 of 374 CONS (Bldg 620), Yokota Air Base. All offerors are encouraged to participate in this scheduled tour. Offerors who need escorting shall be at the Supply Gate (Gate No. 5) by 0930 hrs. Prospective offerors who have not previously completed vendor registration are requested to contact Mr Matsumoto at 042-553-8549 for further instructions.
