- Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work in accordance with the specifications and drawings, specified herein, or as needed to fully complete construction of addition to HQ AFSOC/SE, Building 90382 at Hurlburt Field, FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $31M; the SIC code is 1542. The work to be performed includes but is not necessarily limited to, the following principal features: selective demolition, site work, concrete, structural steel, pre-engineered metal building, pre-finished metal fascia and soffit, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, finish hardware, aluminum windows, interior gypsum board partitions, gypsum board ceiling, carpet, ceramic tile, VCT, sealed concrete, painting, toilet partitions, restroom accessories, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. The issue date for this solicitation is projected to be on/or about 21 Jul 06. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a ?straddle bid.? Funding is expected to be available for award in fiscal year 2006, or first quarter of fiscal year 2007. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 16th Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR and complete the online representations and certifications will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, recommend registering immediately to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/.
