- Solicitation FA6606-06-B-0003 - Project YTPM 04-0004P1/P2/P3, Sustain Base Hangar,Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA 01022-1536. Project will consist of selective interior demolition and refurbishing of interior architectural items and finishes of administrative and functional support areas. This renovation includes furring out of walls, replacing and installing doors, painting, the installation of new vinyl wall covering, ceramic wall tile, carpet tile flooring, ceramic tile flooring, decorative epoxy flooring, vinyl bonded hardwood flooring, new plumbing fixtures and bathroom accessories, suspended acoustical tile ceiling systems, minor relocations and replacement of ceiling mounted supply and return air diffusers and registers and fire sprinklers to accommodate room modifications and new ceilings, new lighting, and minor modifications to existing power, fire alarm, voice and data outlets to accommodate room modifications. This project is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $31,000,000.00 and the NAICS (North American Industrial Classification System) Code for this solicitation is 236220. IFB will be issued on 21 July 2006 with a bid opening date of 25 August 2006. Performance period will be two hundred fifteen (215) calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation, including the bid package and wage rates, will be posted at this site (FedBizOpps.gov) and the technical data (drawings and specifications) will be posted at FedTeDS.gov. There will be no other form of distribution for this solicitation other than downloading the information from these sites.
