- USDA-NRCS is accepting quotes for repairs to 3 separate greenhouses located at the NRCS Plant Material Center (PMC) in Galliano, Louisiana. Required repairs include the following to one or more of the 3 greenhouses: replace existing glazing with 8mm polycarbonate; replace roof vents with 54" x 60' long single ridge vent with motorized operator; replace existing door and door frame; replace and update existing gas heating system; replace circulating fan, control system, junction box, wiring, conduit, and overhead light fixtures; repair truss; install new run of girt and new drip channel; provide new environmental control system; and provide new 48" x 4" x 35' PVC cooling pad (including sump tank and pump). Site showing information will be included in the solicitation which will be posted to FedBizOpps in approximately 15 days from the date of this notice. Performance time 60 calendar days from notice to proceed. Site showing will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2006, at the PMC (438 Airport Rd., Galiano, Louisiana). Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All parties may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency.
