- This project includes but is not limited to haul and placement of boulders, installation of guardrail sections to better delineate campsites or block roads, applying pit run aggregate at spot locations to improve drainage and harden surfaces, construction of water bars and fill pullback & disposal. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about July 21, 2006. Estimated start work date is approx September 2006. Contract work time is approx 30 days. The Government's estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment security is required for this project. Technical contact for this project is Ben Scott 9509) 395-3372. This project is funded by Title II of The Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 where funds are paid to counties with federal land for use on roads and schools. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of the benefit to the Local Community (in this case, SKAMANIA County).
