REF Request For Quote: HQ0034-06-R-1045 DUE: July 7, 2006...4:00Pm ET POC: Rodger Owen Young, 703-602-2591 (voice) EMAIL Rodger.young@whs.mil, FAX 703-604-5408 Pre-Solicitation Notice DESC: The Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition and Procurement Office, 400 Army Navy Drive, Arlington VA 22202 intends to award a, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36 Construction Contracting and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition. The award is 100?Percent set-aside for a small business concerns of Carlisle Snytec Inc. But reserves the right to make competitive if no small business concern are found. The NAICS code is 238160. The service is currently only available from One-Source, due to the current design, use, and configuration being utilized at The Pentagon Heating and Refrigeration Plant. This design is manufactured by Carlisle Syntec Inc, P.O Box 7000 Carlisle PA. This design is also available through the many representative and Distributors of Carlisle Systec Inc. This procurement is Sole-Source to Carlisle Syntec ONLY, and their Representatives or Distributors. Any other design will initiate the added cost of re-configuration of the roof; a cost The Pentagon is not prepared to absorb. Other offers will not be considered if the manufacture is not Carlisle, and or their Representatives or distributors. The following items will be procured: See Solicitation HQ0034-06-R-1045. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238160. The size standard is $13.0.0M. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete proposal that provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals (if Available). The Government will consider all responses received by the publication due date of this notice. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
