- THIS NOTICE IS REVISED TO A ?REQUEST FOR INFORMATION? ONLY. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is soliciting information from potential sources to provide comprehensive mail service operations at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) Bangor, Silverdale, WA and mail metering in Consolidated Mail Facility (CMF) Keyport at NBK Keyport, Keyport, WA. The mail services include the management and administration of registered, certified, insured mail, guard mail, medical mail, and United States Postal Service (USPS) mail. Mail is received, processed, sorted and delivered via contractor owned and operated vehicles. There is also a requirement to operate the electronic postage metering equipment located in the Consolidated Mail Facility at Keyport to meter USPS mail for acceptance into the USPS system. This notice is for the purpose of collecting market research information. Solicitation N00406-06-T-0716 is issued in a DRAFT version only. Small businesses are invited to submit synopsis, not to exceed 5 pages, of their capabilities to manage and execute this type of contract, and transition current workforce where applicable. Responses must include the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) size of business, including: average annual revenue for past three years and number of employees; (3) ownership, indicating whether: Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Women-Owned, HUBZone, and/or Veteran-Owned Business; (4) two points of contact, including: name, title, phone, fax, and e-mail address; (5) affiliate information, including parent corporation, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); (6) Pricing information. NOTE REGARDING SYNOPSIS: This synopsis is for information and planning purposes ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is NOT a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.
