- The National Park Service in Yellowstone National Park, WY intends to place a brand name, sole source order with Taser International for the Taser X26 System using Simplified Acquisition Procedures authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition FAR 6.302-1. Taser is both the manufacturer and vendor. This equipment is already in service and therefore, requires no additional training for users. Anticipated award date is July 17, 2006.
