- Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish the following: Repair and repaint: damaged drywall ceiling in the kitchen; damaged drywall in hallway. Install access panel in hallway wall where previously completed plumbing repairs were done. Refinish wood window sills and wood front door (both sides) Replace attic scuttle lid with new lid having insulated on topside and having air seal on the bottom. Add insulation to attic to increase R value to 49. Remove carpet system from basement, install ventilating sub-floor, recarpet. Paint non-paneled walls in basement including utility and furnace rooms. Repair damaged drywall in garage; tape and joint compound all drywall joints to Level 4 finish. Prime and paint walls. Prep and repaint 2 HM man-doors leading to the outside, and 1HM man-door leading into the quarters. Repair cracked concrete floor at door leading into quarters. Replace damaged and/or leaking roof penetration flashing, and reseal. Remove soffit panels and verify air pathway into attic is clear, install rafter baffles. Remove Heatilator fireplace; repair and patch walls, ceiling and roof. Re-paint all walls and ceilings in all rooms on the first floor. THIS IS AN EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) CLAUSE 52.219-20 (FAR Part 19.1007(c)). Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply. NAICS Code: 236118, Residential Re-modelers Size Standard: $31 Million Emerging small business, as used in this subpart, means a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size standard applicable to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to a contracting opportunity. The expected magnitude of this requirement is less than $25,000. The Request for Quotes should be avaiable on or about July 12, 2006.
