- Description
- The Walla Walla District intends to award a contract for the removal and installation of electromechanical relays at Ice Harbor Dam. The work consists of all operations required to replace the existing electromechanical transformer and generator pro tective relays for each of the six (6) generators and transformers at Ice Harbor powerhouse with Government furnished relays. Work includes, but is not limited to removal of existing electromechanical relays and associated wiring from the unit control boa rds for six transformers and six generators; installation of new relay panels and mount to existing control boards for each set of generator relays and transformer relays; installation of multi-function protective relays; installation interface wiring betw een new relay panels and existing control board terminal blocks and devices; preparation of as-built drawings. The NAICS code is 811310. The small business size standard is: average annual receipts for the previous 3 fiscal years of $6,500,000. This annou ncement is a synopsis only. The details of the project will be issued in a solicitation package. The expected issue date is on or about July 7, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on the FedTeDS website. The proposals will be due no less than 30 cale ndar days after posting of the solicitation to the FedTeDS website. Site visit information will be in the solicitation. All responsible businesses may submit an offer, which may be considered.
