- Description
- The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that a Sole Source Fixed Price Contract will be awarded to Bruno Associates, Inc. for the period of 1 August 2006 through 31 January 2007, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide non-personal information technology support services for the Fleet Hospital Support Office (FHSO). The FHSO provides support to eight Fleet Hospitals to the Maritime Prepositioned Force (MRF) and to others Prepositio ned War Reserve (PWR) locations as well as smaller, tailored Expeditionary Medical Facilities (EMF) for operational requirements and operations other than war . Both Fleet Hospitals and EMTs include specialized equipment that is serial number tracked a nd, therefo re, subject to Unique Identification (UID) policy. The services will includes implementing standard Automatic Identification Technology media such as linear bar code, two-dimensional bar code, datamatrix symbology, and contact memory button s in support of the military conflict in Iraq. This non-competitive contract is a follow-on contract to work currently being provided by Bruno Associates, Inc. under an existing contract.
