Description

This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F3Z2436166A100, is issued as a request for quotation This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-10 and Defense DCN 20060616. The associated Standard Classification (SIC) is 9224. The North American Industry Classification System is 922160 and the number of employees is $6M. If two (2) or more responsive, responsible and technically acceptable small businesses responds, this acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business, if not, it will be be unrestricted. The government intends to solicit and award this purchase order for the following item: Services, nonpersonal: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation, and all necessary item to service ten (10) mobility 150-pound halon fire extinguishers located at Travis AFBA, CA 94535. CLIN 0001: INITIAL SERVICE OF 150-POUND WHEELED UNIT WITH HALON AND COMPLETE AN ANNUAL INSPECTION AND REPRESSURIZED AS NEEDED AFTER HALON SETTLES (0N-SITE). QTY 10 EACH CLIN 0002: HALON 1211 NEEDED FOR SERVICING 10 150-POUND FIRE BOTTLES. CONTRACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO THE 60AMXS SERVICE AREA ON TRAVIS AFB CA WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF NOTIFICATION TO REPRESSURIZE FIREBOTTLES WHEN NEEDED (DUE TO SETTLING) AFTER THE INITIAL REFILL. QTY: 1500 POUND. FOB is Travis Air Force Base. The following provisions or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2-Evaluation-Items paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows-Evaluation Factors: Price Only.
