- THIS SYNOPSIS IS BEING AMENDED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL QUANTITY OF 301 EACH OF THE SAME ITEM. THIS NEW QUANTITY IS FROM PR FD2030-06-70462. THIS PR WILL BE ADDED TO THE PREVIOUS REQUIREMENT AND RESOLICITED. THIS WILL CHANGE THE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE TO APPROXIMATELY JULY 17 2006, AND THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE TO APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 17 2006. NOUN: CYLINDER ASSEMBLY; NSN: 2840-01-320-6432NZ; P/N: 4067838; QTY: 174; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: 31 JAN 07 to overseas countries; APPLICABLE TO: F100/200/220/229 Engine. SIZE/DIMENSIONS: APPROX .21 INCHES LONG X 4.5 INCHES WIDE X 1.5 INCHES THICK; PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: AMS 5544; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: DIVERGENT SEALS LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF EXHAUST GAS PRESSURE ESCAPING BETWEEN THE DIVERGENT SEGMENTS. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 16 May 2006. Anticipated award date: 1 JUL 06. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. If an offeror?s SAR package is approved, but a first article is required, the solicitation will be amended to include first article line items and clauses. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
