- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Microwave Instrumentation Technologies, LLC, 1125 Satellite Blvd, Suite 100, Suwanee, GA, 30024 for the purchase of the following test equipment items: 1) One (1) Dual Polarized Ridged Waveguide Broadband Feed 4.0-8.0GHZ; 2) One (1) Dual Polarized Ridged Waveguide Broadband Feed 8.0-12.4GHZ; 3) One (1) Broadband Feed .05-1.0GHZ Crosslog Feed; 4) One (1) Cross Log Dual Polarized Broadband Feed 1.0-2.0GHZ; and 5) Two (2) Log Periodic Antenna 0.10-1.0GHZ. These test equipment items are replacements for failing antenna system feeds presently in use. Substitution of these broadband feeds and antenna are unacceptable due to the negative impact on the testing both in terms of cost and schedule. Justification is based on MI Technologies as the sole developer of these test equipment items which are replacing existing equipment items at AFRL Rome Research Site. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 334220. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
