Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The solicitation will be issued on the World Wide Web and can be found at the following web site: http://www.eps.gov/ Solicitation F2Q3656151A100 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561790 with a small business size standard of 6.5 million dollars annually. The Service Contract Act and Wage Determinations are applicable. The 1st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for the Cleaning of the HVAC System, High Surface Horizontal & Vertical. The Contractor will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials and supplies required for high surface cleaning of the outside ductwork, diffusers, registers, ceiling trusses, lighting, beams, conduit and all elevated vertical and horizontal surfaces above 7 ft inside Bldg. 226, Shellbank Fitness Center, Langley AFB. The Contractor will clean interior ductwork and HVAC system in accordance with NADCA standards. Existing services openings will be utilized when possible. If new service access panels are installed, they shall be installed in accordance with industry standards and codes. The access panels will be sealed with SMACNA approved sealant to prevent air leakage. Contractor will coordinate with fitness center staff before cleaning. This will enable fitness staff personnel to remove personnel and equipment for the area to be cleaned. The contractor has the following Dates for cleaning; 30 JUN 06 through 30 JUL 06. Designated cleaning times are Monday through Friday from 10:00 pm till 04:00 am and Saturday & Sunday 7:00 pm till 07:00 am. At the end of the designed cleaning times, contractor will remove all trash and cleaning equipment and return areas over to fitness center staff. Contractor will adhere to manufactured recommended precaution when subjecting athletic floor system to significant rolling loads. Place of delivery for acceptance and FOB point will be 87 Sweeney Blvd, Langley AFB, VA 23665. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The clause at 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items.
