- Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide BUILDING 11 RENOVATIONS, Project 573-06-601 at the VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. This project will repair the entire HVAC system for building 11 and add additional DX equipment for the main cooling system with backup water connected from the main hospital with piping connections for a future air cooled chiller, in addition to replace the existing roofing system below the HVAC equipment. The NAICS code is 238220/size standard is $13 million. Estimated cost range is $250,000-$500,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL HUB-ZONE SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM QUALIFIED HUB-ZONE SMALL BUSINESSES. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The issue date is 7/20/06. Pre-Bid Conference: 8/3/06 at 1:00pm in Room EB106-1 Basement at the VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Florida. Bid Opening: 8/22/06 at 3:00pm in Room B18, Bldg. 19 at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, Florida. Only hard copies of this solicitation will be available upon request. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the issuing office. All potential bidders must obtain a DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to do business with the VA.
