- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a Purchase Order on a noncompetitive basis to House Market Research as a sole source vendor to conduct focus group research studies to explore consumers' information needs regarding safety information about their medical devices, including ICDs, pacemakers, and other internal and external devices, to provide data to design risk communication information and outreach materials for health care consumers. The selected group has been recommended for this work by virtue of its previous specialized experience with the health care providers and patients who need and/or use such devices. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. FDA intends to make an award fifteen (15) days following the date of this notice. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This award is a 100 percent small business set-aside and will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
