- Project includes road and spur construction at Lower Bowns Reservoir for group camp site, single dispersed campsites, double unit campsites, parking area and placement of picnic pads, tables, fire rings, grills and precast concrete bathrooms. There will be removal and disposal of structures and existing vault toilet. The existing water system will also be extended 350 feet. Project is located in the Freemont Ranger District of the Dixie National Forest, Garfield County, Utah. It is located approximately 15 miles South East of Teasdale, Utah. Project may be accessed from State Highway 12 and Lower Bowns Road. The project has a Government estimate between $250,000 - $500,000. Bid bond is required with offer. The approximate posting date for the RFP/solicitation and applicable maps and drawings will be 20 July 2006 to this same website. Those interested in the project should plan to attend the show-me/site tour scheduled for 3 August 2006 at 10:30 a.m. local time at the Loa Ranger District Office. *****
