- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for environmental consulting services to include professional and technical services in support of the JSC Environmental Office. These services will include environmental regulatory compliance support on all existing and emerging Federal, State, and Local regulatory programs as applicable to NASA JSC facilities, activities, and operations. Program areas include environmental management system, air program compliance, hazardous waste program compliance (acquiring and administering hazardous waste transportation and disposal), water programs compliance (drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater), chemical spill/release emergency response oversight, restoration, pollution prevention/recycling/sustainability, asbestos/lead program, cultural/natural resource program, facility design reviews for identifying environmental requirements, and training/outreach. Contract type: Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Period of Performance: 5 years (2-year base period and 3 one-year options). This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561620 and $6.5M, respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
