- The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Indian Head, MD intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Giga-tronics Inc. for the purchase of a Precision Scalar Analyzer and accessories. The Precision Scalar Analyzer and its accessories are used in Navy Calibration Laboratories to perform precision measurements and has been established as Navy standards. These items are only made by this vendor and are sold as proprietary in nature. Since the Navy has established this vendor and model equipment as a standard, future purchases from this vendor have been previously established. This was taken into account when the market research was conducted prior to establishing it as a Navy Standard. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 334515.
