- Timber Sale ? Approximately 2,980 Tons of Pine Timber ? Combination of Sawtimber, Chip-N-Saw & Pulpwood located at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. The sale areas will comprise of approximately 78 acres on which trees may be selectively cut. This sale is to be a Lump Sum sale ? Invitation No. N62467-06-B-0111. Timber is not sold under FAR regulations. The NAICS Code is 113310: Logging. The size standard is 500 employees. FOR SPECIFICATIONS: The Government intends to issue the solictation on the WEB only and through the Forestry Bidders List maintained by Mrs. Dee Gore (843-820-5592). Prospective Bidders MUST register themselves on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official plan-holders list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE BIDDER?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
