- Description
- The Northeast Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for aerial (rotary wing) application of herbicide for phragmites control at various National Wildlife Refuges located in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Spraying will take place between August 15, 2006 and September 20, 2006 using rotary wing aircraft with on-board AgNav or similar GPS system. The applicable NAICS code is 115112 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The Government intends to award a competitive commercial contract or contracts resulting from the pending solicitation; because multiple awards may be made vendors do not have to bid on all locations. This requirement will utilize full and open competition, no small business set-asides apply. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation is to be released on or about 07/12/2006.
