- Furnish all labor equipment supplies and materials to install a submersible pump, utility lines, potable water hydrant, equip a pump house, extend a gravel trail, and top soil trenches and other disturbed areas shown on drawings. Work under this contract is located in Madison County. Map will be attached in the Request for Quotations showing the location to the work site. The supplies and work will include (1) Crushed Aggregate - 5 cy; (2) Trenching and Backfilling (6 foot) - 262 lf; (3) Trenching and Backfilling (2 foot) - 310 lf; (4) Bedding - 60 cy; (5) 1-1/4-inch Galvanized Pipe (6 foot trench) 276 lf; (6) 1-1/4 inch PE Pipe (2 foot trench) - 254 lf; (7) Well Pump and Related Items - 1 ea; (8) Potable Water and Related Items - 1 ea; (9) Pump Facility Plumbing - 1 LS; (10) Top Soil - 8 cy; (11) Erosion Control Matting -2 rolls; (12) Electrical Work - 1 LS. The contractor shall have 27 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete their Annual Representations and Ccertifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database and ORCA will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Information for registration in ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of July 17, 2006. Response date for quotes will be on or about August 16, 2006. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of August 1, 2006. A firm date will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
