Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, with the exception of Government-furnished materials, to construct two (02) livestock pipeline extensions on Bureau of Land Management property. The Work Data Sheet lists the project location and the approximate quantities. Work will include - (1) Plowing (Common) and backfilling and compacting approximately 16,798 linear feet; (2) approximately 16,798 linear feet of 1-1/2 inch HDPE SDR-11 160 psi pipe; (3) six (06) 1-1/2 inch ball valve assemblies; (4) eight (08) air relief valve assemblies, and; (5) four (04) watering assemblies. The contractor shall have 40 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $25,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete their Annual Representations and Ccertifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database and ORCA will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Information for registration in ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of July 17, 2006. Response date for quotes will be on or about August 16, 2006. A tentative site visit is scheduled for the week of August 1, 2006. A firm date will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
