Description
This proposed procurement is unrestricted. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Method (commercial items). NAICS 325188; small business size standard 1,000 employees. Provide approximately 9,500 dry tons of alum to the Da lecarlia Water Treatment Plant. The liquid alum shall be 17% AL2O3 and contain water soluble aluminum of not less than 8.25% +/- 0.1% per ANSI/AWWA B 403-03. The product shall be certified as suitable for contact with or treatment of drinking water by an a ccredited certification organization IAW American National Standards Institutes (ANSI)/National Sanitation Foundations (NSFs) Standard No. 60. Period of performance is one year, 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. The total estimated amount is betw een $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the internet only. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Fe deral Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS) - a one-time registration process is required for vendors/ contractors. Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors/vendors - go to www.fedteds.gov for additional information.
