- The Federal Prison Camp Alderson, WV is seeking a qualified organization or individual capable of providing the services of a Physician's Assistant in accordance with the standards and methods generally accepted with this field and in compliance with Federal and State policies and regulation. The Government intends to award this contract to a responsive and responsible contractor meeting the requirements of the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide a total of 1040 (1 hour sessions) for the contract year. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price medical non-personal service requirements contract with a performance period from date of award through September 30, 2007. This solicitation will be available on or after July 10, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The estimated date for receipt of offers is August 16, 2006.
