- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify firms capable of providing the rental of miscellaneous equipment to support Incident Base Camp(s) that are set up to support emergency operations from the Mississippi River east to the mid-Atlantic area and south to the Gulf Coast. Contractors will be required to furnish fully equipped trailer(s) to include, at a minimum the following equipment: copy machines, fax machine, office trailers, tents, area lighting, washroom facilities, folding tables, folding chairs, briefing area, telephone and electrical hookups, garbage cans, etc. Delivery of the trailer(s) would be required within 24 hours after notification. The initial contract period would be for one year with four one-year options. The NAICS for this project is 423110 with a Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. Vendors interested in performing this requirement are invited to provide the following information to USCG CEU Cleveland no later than July 10, 2006. The information may be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist at patricia.j.korenchen@uscg.mil or faxed to 216-902-6278. Responses shall include the following information: Reference number HSCG83-06-R-3WF000, Company name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address; business size (large/small), disadvantaged, 8(a), or HUBZone status; and, Evidence that the contractor has performed similar projects (past performance history). NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
