Description

The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned government corporation established by Congress through passage of Title I of Public Law 104-333 in November 1996 (Presidio Trust Act). The Presidio Trust?s mission is to preserve and enhance the Presidio (formerly Army Base) as part of the National Park system and achieve financial self-sufficiency by Fiscal Year 2013. The Presidio Trust is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to operate an innovative, state-of-the-art clean-fuel shuttle service within the Presidio and nearby downtown San Francisco. The Five (5) Shuttles called the ?PresidiGo? provide service for general use by the Presidio residents, tenants, and park visitors as part of the Trust?s mission to preserve the Presidio as a dynamic national park. Qualified small businesses are encouraged to respond to this Request for Proposals (RFP). Through this RFP process, we plan to select a contractor demonstrating specialized experience and strong capabilities in operating the PresidiGo Shuttles. The Presidio Trust anticipates awarding one (1) contract with a three (3)-year base term plus option years. Proposals must meet the scope of work set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). RFP is scheduled to be issued on July 6, 2006, Thursday during the MANDATORY Site Walk. Proposals due approx. on July 21, 2006, Friday at noon (12:00 p.m.) Work begins in late August or September 2006. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
