DESCRIPTION OF SOLICITATION: CONTRACT HQ0034-XX-XXLP; FIRM-FIXED PRICE, INDEFINITE DELIVERY, INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT WITH T & M FEATURES. MAXIMUM/ MINIMUM VALUE: The amount of $100,000.00 is established as the minimum dollar amount and $7,000,000.00 is established as the maximum amount over the life of the contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: Base year plus one (1) 12-month option period. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This procurement consists of one solicitation with the intent to award to one responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the Request for Proposal (RFP). Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition and Procurement Office (A&PO), on behalf of the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD), is seeking proposals from offerors to establish a Helpdesk and Call Center for approximately 1,700 OSD AT&L clients that will support AT&L at the Tier 1 & 2 Helpdesk levels. This involves primarily desktop support, but also includes laptop and mobile (Blackberries, etc) support as well. The current environment is highly dynamic and includes a well-defined support organization and support procedures. Support systems to be operated include; trouble ticket systems, network management systems, and personnel and equipment databases. The help desk services required include customer liaison, support for client-side hardware and software, support for OUSD (AT&L)?s remote access services, problem analysis, problem and call management, problem resolution, and dispatching technicians to customer sites as required. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. A draft RFP will be issued on or before 10 days with the final solicitation being issued on or about 25 days.
