Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for the production, and acceptance testing of a NATO Improved Link Eleven (NILE) Link Level Communication Security device (LLC), Full Rate Production (FRP) version. The Government intends to make a single-award as a result of this solicitation on the basis of unrestricted, best-value competition. The prospective contract will have a base period of one year with four ??? one-year options, making the maximum potential performance period five years. A minimum of five (5) and a maximum of 125 units will be ordered per year. Attached at the SPAWAR e-commerce link below are preliminary draft solicitation files. Not all the draft Section J attachments are included. Prospective offerors are encouraged to subscribe to this solicitation at the SPAWAR link below. Notification of the subsequent release of final solicitation documents will be made automatically to subscribers. A list of subscribers to this solicitation will also be available on the SPAWAR e-commerce site. Comments on the draft solicitation are invited. Comments may be submitted via email to Mark Schweer at mark.schweer@navy.mil or may be submitted via the SPAWAR e-commerce site. Comments are due by COB Friday, July 21st. Release of the final solicitation is anticipated in the late July/early August timeframe. Contract award is expected in 4th Qtr. CY 06.
