- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase on a sole source basis a dual differential LP sensor, sensor scanning assembly, and accessory equipment, as well as software support from Laser Techniques, CO located at 14508 NE 20th St., Bellevue, WA 98007. Laser Techniques is the sole source manufacturer and only distributor of this software and equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed priced order. The order shall be shipped within 30 days to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA. FOB Destination shall apply. The quotation number is N00178-06-Q-1153 and is a Request for Quote. The award will be in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capability with their fax quote at (540) 653-7088, which shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. This procurement is DO priority. Offer is due 10 July 2006, no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time to: Attn: XDS11F, Building 183, First Floor, Room 102, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. Fax copies are acceptable. Anticipated award by 10 July 2006. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD website to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
