The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about July 10, 2006. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project consists of furnishing and installing a packaged fire pump system including but not limited to fire pump, diesel driver, batteries, fuel system, jockey pump, fire and jockey pump controllers, piping internal to the pump house building, valves, gauges and all appurtenaces related to the fire pump installation. The packaged system shall also include the building to house the fire pump equipment including required electrical, heating, lighting ventilation and drainage. The work includes providing the design for pump house foundation which will be constructed by others. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: JULY 24, 2006 @ 9:00 AM. Contractors shall meet at the Maintenance Building, 1990 Maintenance Way, Richmond, VA 23231. The NAICS code is 333911. It is anticipated that the government will award a firm fixed price contract to the low, responsive, responsible Offeror. Quotations are due AUG 14, 2006 by 4:30 PM. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100, 000.
