- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Albuquerque, New Mexico is soliciting offers on a competitive basis from experienced qualified contractors for the complete installation (materials and labor) of a 150' Self Supporting radio tower located at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, located in Calhoun County, Port O'Connor, Texas. Work includes concrete foundation design and installation, tower installation, grounding, shipping/transportation, mobilization of crew, installation of two DB224/264 antennas and two runs of transmission line at the time of tower installation, waveguide ladder including coax hanger, top and bottom side arms to side mount one DB224/264 antenna, climbing ladder, safety climb cable kit and lightning rod. The magnitude of construction is under $100,000. Proposals will be evaluated on best value where technical and past performances are of greater or equal importance than cost/price. Contractor will be required to furnish payment protection in the amount of 100% of the contract price upon award of the contract. All interested parties must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. Vendors wishing to respond to this should provide this office with a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-03, Offeror Representations and Certifications.
