- The Bureau of Indian Affairs(BIA), Branch of Acquisition Services, Southwest Regional Office, Albuquerque, NM solicits the Facilities Improvement and Repair (FI&R) construction of Project No. 02N25, To?hajiilee (Canoncito) Community School. Construction contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supplies, materials, services, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform all work required to complete as specified in the specifications, drawings and any addenda. Construction includes Part I and Part II as the base bid, Additive Alternate Bid No. One (1), and Additive Alternate Bid No. Two (2). Work includes the following: site renovation of fourteen (14) educational buildings with numbers 611, 621, 632, 634, 635, 641, 642, 646, 647, 649, 650, 651, 652 and 653; installation of the new sewer lagoons with related civil, sewer infrastructure, all associated site work includes on eight (8) inch O.D. sewer line, four (4) inch O.D. standard manhole, cap all abandoned lines and connections for new lift station (lift station, controllers, construction of a new emergency access road and new asphalt paving). Also construct new chemical storage and lift station control room (Building No. 660); Additive Alternate No. One (1) Provide 6 ft. high chainlink perimeter fence to be around school campus with installation. Additive Alternate No. Two (2) Provide grounds consisting of an eight (8) lane rubber surface ? Track and Field with installation. All work shall be in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and with all applicable Federal, State, Local fire and safety, building, and sanitary codes and regulations. Duration of construction is two hundred eighty-five (285) calendar days after receipt in writing of the authorized notice to proceed. The work is to be performed at To?Hajiilee (Canoncito) Community School, Canoncito, New Mexico, Bernalillo County, located approximately 10 miles north of I-40 East on mile marker 131, 40 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico on I-40. Construction cost range is between $5 million and $10million. Availability of construction documents shall be July 10, 2006 from Albuquerque Reprographic. Within three weeks after availability of construction documents, a pre-bid conference shall be held at the construction site, tentatively July 31, 2006. Details will be in those documents. Any questions or clarifications requested shall be in written format and mailed to the Contracting Office referenced above in time enough to have answers at the pre-bid conference. Plans and specifications shall be on disks (read only format).
